Dr. Rogers Prize is pleased to support A Night to Inspire

  • News

The Dr. Rogers Prize hopes to see many friends at InspireHealth’s A Night to Inspire gala on Friday, September 19th. This is the organization’s 10th annual fundraising event, critical to providing its free of charge, life-changing supportive care programs for cancer patients in British Columbia.

InspireHealth was co-founded 28 years ago by two pioneering leaders in integrative cancer care – our very own Dr. Roger Rogers and Dr. Hal Gunn, who shared the $250,000 Dr. Rogers Prize with Dr. Badri Rickhi in 2009.

Dr. Rogers and Dr. Gunn, passionate about the integral role of the mind, body, and spirit in health and healing, founded InspireHealth with the goal to create a model of cancer care that goes beyond treating the disease. Since its inception, InspireHealth has helped thousands of cancer patients and with today’s cancer statistics, their work and care for patients is needed more than ever.

InspireHealth offers individualized exercise therapy, stress management, nutrition and counselling services virtually and in-person at its centres in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna and Kamloops.

We are honored to celebrate InspireHealth’s transformative approach to cancer care – a model that embodies the very innovation and compassion we celebrate with the Dr. Rogers Prize.
